Biodiesel Initiative
We proudly present our new biodiesel processor currently on display in our downtown (Belltown) Seattle location. We invite those
interested to tour our facility and learn more about biodiesel, which can be scheduled by sending us an email.
As concerned citizens and eco-preneurs, we hold regularly scheduled meetings to examine the markets, technology and
possibility of making new fuel initiatives.
Alaskan Fish Oil Push
This is an idea that was started one evening over discussions with our friends and valued eco-prenuers Taku River Reds. Heather
Hardcastle and Professor Seferis engaged the issue: "Why not process fish waste to create biofuels?" Alaska is cold. Diesel is used
everywhere. Our designers have assisted in the construction of fish oil rendering facilities in Europe, which has already taken up
the issue, so "Why not?"
This lead to a conceptual Glocal/Taku Partnership to initiate the Fish Oil Push, with the eventual goal to have a Pilot Point in place by 2008. The pilot point would initiate production with WVO with offtake grants from cruise ship partners in the area WHILE researching the viability of fish oil rendering, use, storage and blending concurrently.
